Proper posture is one of the most important aspects of having good health. Often times, a slouched back and neck can lead to serious health issues down the line. “Posture Reminder” allows you to set time intervals in which you receive custom notifications to remind you to fix your posture.
The app also features a brand new, innovative Smart Alert option not found in any other app. The Smart Alert is triggered by carefully estimating if your head is angled downwards via monitoring the phone accelerometer. This alert is also specially optimized to have little to no battery drain.
“Posture Reminder” is the first posture app to implement elements of Google’s slick, new Material Design UI. The app is programmed to be easily navigated and follow an aesthetic color scheme. To use the app, just press on the Settings gear button and configure the notification options you desire. Once you set your alarm, simply exit the app. That’s it! Note, the app does not send a reminder at the exact interval, rather it sends them at minor deviations from the chosen time (a few seconds off the actual interval) as suggested by Google’s guidelines to maintain efficiency and save battery life.
