Hip hop or hip hop music or rap music are the genres of music created in the United States in the 1970s that involve rap techniques, which are ways of speaking that are voiced through rhythmic rhymes, which are accompanied by rhythmic background music. This technique then develops as part of hip hop, a cultural branch that has 4 key elements: MCing / rapping, DJing / scratching with turntables, breakdancing, and graffiti writing. A sampling beat or bassline from recording (or synthesizing beats and sounds) and rhythmic beatboxing is also included as part of hip hop music.
Initially the growth of Hip Hop started from The Bronx in New York City and continues to grow rapidly to the entire world. Hip hop was first introduced by African Americans, Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five.
