Sitting too long can have serious health consequences even if you do exercise afterwards. So far, however, there has been no app that records how long you sit over time and gives you in depth analysis of your sitting patterns.
SitClock changes all of that. Unlike other break timing apps, SitClock records your sitting patterns over time, allowing you to gain insight and modify your lifestyle for less sitting in the long term.
It also contains features like an alarm that can remind you to get up after sitting for a certain length of time. But, unlike other sitting Apps, SitClock automatically detects when you are sitting. No need to pull out your phone to hit Start or Stop every time you want to be reminded to stand up.
It can provide hourly reminders to stand up, and can serve as an excellent tool to maintain a good posture.
For example, you could set alarm for 20 minutes, and SitClock will automatically detect when you are sitting, and only count time towards that alarm when you are sitting. As soon as you stand up, the alarm will be paused. The alarm feature also
