The WHOOP system recognizes that you’re not an athlete 3 hours a day; you’re an athlete 24/7. Paired with a WHOOP Strap*, the WHOOP app collects over 100MB of biometric data a day and, through WHOOP’s sports science algorithms, analyzes your performance to prevent overtraining, better manage physical exertion, and optimize your Sleep and Recovery.
*Use of the WHOOP app requires the wearable WHOOP Strap to function. The WHOOP 3.0 strap requires BLE 4.2 .

WHOOP is the first product to automatically measure physiological markers such as Heart Rate Variability and Resting Heart Rate to indicate your personal readiness to perform each day.

Given your Recovery, WHOOP calculates your exertion based on workouts and daily lifestyle to make sure you’re training optimally.
Your Sleep Need Before Bed
After assessing your Strain, WHOOP tells you how much sleep you need to recover and then calculates a detailed breakdown of time spent in each wave of Sleep.
