Lord Ganesha is one of the most loved gods. Lord Ganesha has been given several names by his devotees and by other gods & goddesses because of his deeds; to name a few, Lambodar, Vinayak, Ganpati, Ganesha, Vighnaharta, Vighna Vinashak, Ekdant and many more. Lord Ganesha is known by these names throughout the country and globe. Before we celebrate this Ganesh Chaturthi or Vinayaka Chaturthi in 2015, let us first know the real story of the birth of Lord Ganesha, as his birth marks the beginning of Ganesh Utsav.
