OpenSoils is a 100% Brazilian framework, designed by a leading university in the areas of Agriculture, Soils and Computing. The framework is distributed, elastic, scalable and fully dedicated to the execution of open science, e-science, open data and citizen science in the area of Soil Safety. Our software solution aims to contribute to the solution of sustainability problems. It enables the systematic collection of new soil profile data in the field through mobile applications to tracking soil samples and analyzing them in laboratories. OpenSoils also allows the import and integration of large volumes of existing legacy data into multiple repositories dispersed in the form of "data islands". The solution also offers Web services for searching and sharing open cured data with explicit semantics, large data volume analysis and the generation of soil maps. All this with security, professionalism, transdisciplinarity and reliability.
