Justin Drew Bieber (born March 1, 1994) is a Canadian singer and songwriter. Bieber's current manager, Scooter Braun first discovered him via a YouTube video of his YouTub in 2007. Braun was impressed with the video, and contacted Bieber's mother, Pattie Mallete, about wanting to work with her. After convincing his mother, Braun arranges for Bieber to meet Usher in Atlanta, Georgia. Bieber signed a contract with RBMG, and then to island Records a recording contract offered by executive recording, LA Reid.
