The current design of the U.S. flag is its 27th; the design of the flag has been modified officially 26 times since 1777. The 50-star flag was adopted in July 1960 and it is being used until today (the longest-used version, over 58 years).
This effort is to explore the history and formation of U.S. flags. You'll learn about the history, and formation of flags, use of colors, stars, stripes and their meanings, state flags, capitals of each states and location.
