Opis Conways 3D Game of Life

This app shows a 2D and a 3D view of Conways Game of Life.
Besides the "normal" Torus-World you also can create a Cube-World of the Game of Life in 2D and 3D. The difference is, that in the Cube-World the cells in the 8 corners only have 7 neighbors instead of 8. Thus completely new living conditions develop.
This app also allows two players to play against each other by using the 2-color mode. So each player can set a predefined number of his own cells and start the game to see, which population will life longer.
The Game of Life is interesting for not only mathematicians or computer scientists, but also offers to teachers,
to children and to adults amusing insights into the simulation of life.
