Doordarshan is one of the largest broadcasting organisations in the world in terms of the studios and transmitters. Doordarshan has started replacing its transmitters, from analogue to digital transmitters, that allows up to 8 channels from a single transmitter. It has launched a free DVB-T2 mobile TV service in 16 cities. Currently DD National, DD News, DD Bharati, DD Sports, DD Regional/DD Kisan are available for DVB-T2 service.
