Neha Kakkar completed her schooling from New Holy Public School, New Delhi. She has appeared in one popular reality show, Indian Idol, as a contestant in the season 2. When she appeared in the season 2 of Indian Idol, she was just in Class 11. She got eliminated from Indian Idol at a very early stage. After that, she started focusing on playback singing and within few years she came up with her first album in the music industry. Neha Kakkar has another sister, Sonu Kakkar, who is also a singer just like her. It is said that Neha got inspired from her sister for singing. She gave her voice for 'Dhating Naach' in the movie 'Phata Poster Nikla Hero". But she rose to actual fame when she sang the two popular songs in 2014:' Sunny Sunny' and 'London Thumakda'. She even gave her voice to the ultimate party hit of 2016, Kala Chashma.
