BESTApp, provides a score (El Ganzouri)of orotracheal intubation difficulty, based on a systematic evaluation of anthropometric and medical history.
For videolarygoscope users, it suggests the strategy according to the Besta algorithm for airway management,
To the others, it provides positive predictive value of difficult laryngoscopy (Cormack III - IV).
The goal of this app is to spread a common language to talk about difficulties, avoiding the tendency to judge the airways with sensations that have poor positive predictive value.
