Agensi berita "ANHA" Hawar ditubuhkan pada 1 Mac 2013 oleh sebilangan wartawan Kurdi di Belgium. Ini merangkumi peristiwa dan menerbitkan berita dari berbagai negara Eropa, wilayah Rojava dan wilayah Kurdistan lain, selain negara-negara Timur Tengah.

ANHA percaya bahawa perjuangan di media adalah salah satu cara perjuangan untuk mempromosikan prinsip kehidupan dan membina keperibadian masyarakat moral dan politik, yang menyerap semua warna, suara, kepercayaan dan pendapat
Media kini merupakan kekuatan utama dan terpenting yang mampu menghilangkan dominasi, dan menjangkau berjuta-juta orang pada masa yang sama. ANHA percaya bahawa media adalah faktor utama dalam membangun masyarakat demokratik, dalam konteks ini, ia bertujuan untuk berjuang di medan media untuk menentukan, melindungi dan mengembangkan identiti, budaya dan sejarah orang-orang Kurdish dan semua orang yang ditindas, orang-orang yang keberadaannya ditolak dan orang-orang terdedah kepada genosida fizikal dan budaya.
Sesuai dengan warisan media bebas, tujuan utama ANHA adalah untuk menghilangkan mentaliti media otoriter yang terasing dari masyarakat dan dikaitkan dengan pemikiran maskulin, dan untuk mencipta dan membina pemikiran yang berkait rapat dengan masyarakat. Ini juga bertujuan untuk mengeluarkan media dari hegemoni kekuasaan, meletakkannya pada layanan rakyat, dan memperkuat institusi media alternatif.
Dalam konteks ini, ANHA menerapkan nilai-nilai kehidupan demokratik dan partisipatif, menerapkan sejarah dan falsafah peradaban Demokratik dan mematuhi prinsip dan nilai media masyarakat demokratik dan persekitaran dan kebebasan wanita.
Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, agensi berita Hawar mengikuti perkembangan dan membawa maklumat tersebut kepada masyarakat, berdasarkan media yang jujur, emosional, moral dan objektif, melalui rangkaian wartawan yang dikerahkan di Rojava khususnya dan di seluruh Kurdistan dan Timur Tengah, secara umum.
