This application calculates the body mass index (BMI) of a person, according to your weight and your height. With it you can calculate your BMI, take your questions and find out if you are above their ideal weight.
What is BMI?
BMI is an acronym used for Body Mass Index.
The Body Mass Index is a measure used to measure obesity adopted by the World Health Organization (WHO). It is the international standard for assessing the degree of obesity.
Overweight and obesity indicated by BMI are risk factors for diseases such as hypertension, coronary artery disease and diabetes mellitus, and other diseases considered high risk to public health.
