Produttore Mukesh Khanna ha giocato il ruolo di Shaktimaan e il suo alter ego "Pandit Gangadhar Vidhyadhar Mayadhar Omkarnath Shastri" , un fotografo per il giornale AAJ KI AAWAZ. Shaktimaan è stato raffigurato come un umano che ha raggiunto potenze sovrumani attraverso la meditazione e cinque elementi della natura: spazio, terra, aria, fuoco, acqua.
