Yobe State Located in north-east geopolitical zone of Nigeria, Yobe State was created out of the old Borno State in 1991 and it is divided into seventeen local government areas which include Bade, Bursari, Damaturu, Fika, Fune, Geidam, Gujba, Gulani, Jakusko, Karasuwa, Machina, Nangere, Nguru, Potiskum, Tarmua, Yunusari and Yusufari.
