Seriemas (cristata Cariama) are birds of Cariamidae family, known popularly as cariamiformes order: sariema, seriema-de-foot-red and Siriema. The name comes from the words seriema Tupi "CARIA" (= crest) more "am" (= up). Its scientific name means Cariama = name probably indigenous to bird; cristata and Latin cristatum = Crest, feathered crest. (Cariama crested) [1]. The seriemas are the only living members of the small family of birds Cariamidae, which is also the only surviving lineage cariamiformes order. Vocalization
