SMS Backup and Restore is a simple android application which help you to take backup and restore your messages.
The backupfile will be stored in Memorycard by default.The folder smsbackups contain the backup files
Inbox.xml Contains back of all messages in inbox
Sent.xml Contains all messages you sent
Draft.xml contains draft messages
