The Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) Center, University of Mysore, Mysore is a Nodal Agency recognized by the UGC, New Delhi for conducting the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) for lectureship/Assistant Professor since 2010.
Strictly adhering to the guidelines stipulated by the UGC-NET Bureau, KSET center, University of Mysore will be conducting State Eligibility Test once in a year to make rigorous merit based selection for the entry level of teaching profession. Currently KSET is conducting test in 39 subjects at eleven (11) Nodal Centers spread across the Karnataka State.
Notification, model / previous question papers, syllabus, information regarding online submission of application, examination details, instruction to candidates, seating arrangements, Scheme of Examination/Evaluation, key answers and results are all made available through our website: https://kset.uni-mysore.ac.in. Candidates who qualify the KSET will be governed by the rules and regulations for recruitment of lectures / Assistant Professors of the concerned University / Colleges / Institutions (Government / Aided / Private) in Karnataka State. The Certificate issued for the KSET eligible candidate from this office will have lifetime validity
General Instructions

1. The candidates must read the conditions of eligibility carefully and must satisfy themselves regarding their eligibility for the Test before filling the online application and submit the printout of online application forms to their respective test centers.
2 Persons With Disability (PWD-Visually Handicapped (VH) / Physically Handicapped) candidates should attach the attested copy of Medical Certificate issued by District Civil Surgeon.
3 Applications submitted on any other format will not be accepted.
4 Candidates should ensure that the signatures appended and photographs pasted by them in all the places, viz. in their Application Form and Attendance Slip should be identical and there should be no variation of any kind.
5 The candidates in their own interest are advised to retain copies of the Application Form, Admission Card, Attendance Slip and e-challan/receipt for their record. This will be useful for candidates for any clarification with KSET Center.
