PowerWatch was born out of a mission to create the best active lifestyle smartwatch experience powered by the energy of the user. We’re working to build a world powered by you, where devices can remain always-on and untethered from wasteful chargers.
The series of smartwatches powered by only body-heat and solar power, are energized by MATRIX’s Gemini and Mercury modules, and a custom low-powered operating system designed specifically for PowerWatch.

  This app needs some major work done to it. Nothing works, heart rate does not work, etc the list goes on. The only thing that does work, when it wants too is the steps. Very disappointed. Hopefully the next updates will fix this problem. If not then I will use this watch for target practicing.

  Don't buy. Update 2020-0 10-09. Works better, watch sleep mode helps with battery, still no compass, sleep tracking is wierd. Update 2020-04-29: Battery seems better than in last firmware, 2 weeks and still working. Never use the GPS or any other functions. Update 2020-03-18: Don't resets my days anymore. Update: And I managed to sleep for 9 hours and 40 min during 7 hours irl... no functions like compass in the watch works/exists... So basically useless... Very disappointed.

  As of version 1.5.3 my powerwatch2 no longer syncs with the app. The app consistently returns a Sync Failure(5). Even after following the Matrix FAQ instructions, I can't sync at all. Without the app, the watch is useless.

  At first I was reasonably happy with the watch and various FW updates, making it more and more usable. However my charger doesn't work since 4 months and after contacting support I am still waiting for my new charger. I haven't been able to use my watch for 4 month now which makes it a horrendously expensive experience. It's a just disgrace.

  I can never get the android version of this app to sync with my watch, I have to use the iOS version, which is annoying.

  New update has solved the issues with the watch and App. It works great and could not ask for more.
